        The Ecuadorian government is going to start bidding for the oil exploitation of blocks 80, 84, 85, 86 and 87 located in the province of Pastaza and overlapping the Andwa, Shiwiar, Achuar, Sapara and Kichwa territories of Kawsak Sacha. The Kawsak Sacha people reject these extractive activities in their territory since they directly affect their communities. They demand respect for their rights and support for their plans to control and use their resources in a sustainable manner with low impact on the ecosystem.

    During December 2023, we held a collection to send some clothes, toys, notebooks and sweets to the Kausak Sacha community. Due to the security situation in the country, there were some changes that did not allow us to collect for the start of classes. Now that we are better organized, we are working on projects for this new year.
